Deadly Sins
STILL LIFE IMAGES
The project draws inspiration from the photographic work of Edward Weston, a master at transforming ordinary objects into symbolic images through light and shadow.
Following this approach, I selected fruits and vegetables to represent the seven deadly sins. The visual composition is based on a controlled use of light, aimed at highlighting the tension between external beauty and internal corruption. The selection of elements was dictated by their natural form and the rich historical and cultural fabric that surrounds them. Each fruit was selected to evoke collective images. On the cover, a flower composed of collaged shots summarizes the theme: a seductive appearance that, upon closer inspection, reveals a hint of rot.
