Pordenonelegge

For the 2025 edition of Pordenonelegge – Festa del Libro e della Libertà (Festival of Books and Freedom), ISIA University, in collaboration with the Pordenonelegge Foundation, entrusted me with the graphic design of the official staff uniforms.

The assignment involved reworking the symbol historically associated with the Angels of the event, represented by wings, and integrating it with the book, emblem of reading and central theme of the festival. I conducted a morphological analysis of wing forms, identifying the clearest and most recognizable configuration. I then explored angles and perspectives to merge the two elements into a single symbol: from a distance a wing, up close the pages of an open book.

Seeing this design realized in the uniforms worn by the 245 Angels of Pordenonelegge was a particularly meaningful milestone. The experience enabled me to contribute to the identity of a festival recognized at the European level and hosted by the city of Pordenone, designated Italian Capital of Culture 2027. I valued the trust placed in me by both the university and the Foundation, which gave me the opportunity to work on a project of strong relevance for the community.
