Terraforma

The project consists of creating a modular surface capable of giving shape to memories and facilitating self-expression.

Through textures, patterns, and ceramic reliefs, each module represents a chapter of life, transforming personal experience into visible and tactile matter. Designed for contexts in which verbal communication is fragile or compromised, it finds application in rehabilitative, educational, and social environments, targeting users with cognitive, emotional, or relational difficulties. Interaction takes place through sensory exploration of the surface, which stimulates memory and encourages expression, either independently or with the help of a professional. Based on principles of sensory design, art therapy, and occupational therapy, the project aims to support individual re-elaboration processes.

The surface is customizable and modular: each element can be integrated with others, giving shape to a shared narrative.
